
The 11 to 13 of May, Stockholm finally gets its own queer film festval!
The entire program is released and over a three-day festival 16 norm-breaking, fun, serious, outrages films are presented. Cinema Queer International Film Festival is the largest LGBT film festival in Sweden and here to stay!
Cinema Queer presents a wide range of goodies for everyone. This year we especially focus on the new wave of indie queer film from the U.S. Among these are the festival favorites Joe + Belle by Veronica Kedar and Leave it on the Floor by Sheldon Larry. We are also proud to present the world premier of Travis Mathews I Want Your Love, which even before its opening has attracted considerable attention. Do not miss this exclusive preview!

The festival also looks beyond the European and the U.S. borders and presents Berlinles Teddy Short Award winner Loxoro from Peru and Thailand’s first open lesbians romantic comedy Yes or No?
Cinema Queer International Film Festival is the norm-breaking film festival that by focusing on the film that questions, discuss and look beyond the prevailing standards highlight stories that might otherwise go unnoticed.
We want to offer the Stockholm audience a wide range of LGBTQ- films from around the world, films that otherwise wouldn´t be seen. The goal is to create a natural platform for LGBTQ film in Sweden, both for international film, but also for Swedish filmmakers. Cinema Queer International Film Festival want to offer the audience an alternative to today’s heteronormative cinema and screen films that reflects a different reality.
