World AIDS Day is held on December 1st each year and is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died.
In Stockholm the World AIDS Day Gala has been arranged annually since 2007. This year the gala will be held on December 3rd at Kolingsborg.

This weekend is busy busy busy! Stockholm seems to be in the perfect party mood.
On Saturday Jessica Folcker is performing at the club SaturGay and Danny Saucedo at Star Gay Disco. Moxy, one of the best and largest lesbian clubs are having their big summer party on Saturday and the summer clubs Before and Boyz & Boyz will have their premieres at Mälarpaviljongen. And do not miss a visit to Berns where you’ll find the mixed club Wide Open, that Metro recently named one of the hottest clubs this summer.
At the same time 25 000 people are attending Summerburst Festival 2012. Summerburst Festival is an open air house music festival at the Stockholm Stadion with celebrated DJ’s like Calvin Harris, Adrian Lux and Sebastian Ingrosso (part of Swedish House Mafia).
We’re so proud of our amazing gay rugby team in Stockholm! Last Sunday Sthlm Berserkers won the Bingham Challenger cup!

The Berserkers is Stockholm’s first gay rugby team consisting of about 50 players. The team offers a positive athletic and social environment for dedicated Ruggers as well as for “Wanna-Be” Ruggers. Everybody’s welcome regardless of prior Rugby experience.
The Berserkers love Rugby! Not only because it is a cool sport that requires endurance, strength and explosivity, but also because on the Rugby Pitch everyone is equally important. It doesn’t matter if you are short or tall; stocky or skinny; quick as a squirrel or massively stable like a wall. Either way, you are needed on the Pitch and your skills will be put into practice when hanging out with the Bersekers.

We’re still “euphoric” after winning the Eurovision Song Contest in Baku this Saturday!
Loreen received a total of 372 points in the competition, with 18 countries awarding her the maximum allowable 12 points.
Loreen’s victory gives Sweden its fifth Eurovision title, and the win means that Sweden will host the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013.
