Herr Judit and Judits – two of Stockholm’s best vintage stores

At Judits and Herr Judit you can find both new and second hand fashion, especially from the 50′s, 60′s and 70′s, at either store – men’s or women’s – both located on the same block. All the clothes are in great condition and hand selected by the competent staff.

 

Dior, Chanel and Gucci are among the brands they sell along with second-hand Swedish labels and items that fit into their assortment. Prices vary from expensive to cheap, but nothing is overpriced.

Judits and Herr Judit are two of Stockholm’s most respected vintage stores and offer huge variety. Studded punk leather jackets and preppy bowties are displayed along with suits, tweed suits, silk dresses, designer shoes, bags and sccessories.

These are the ideal places for those who don’t want to sift through piles of old garments at flea markets yet want trendy vintage in great condition. Take your time and you will find some amazing bargains and new favorites!

PETER JÖBACK – I LOVE MUSICALS

Peter Jöback I love musicals

After playing his dream role as the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London, Peter returns to Sweden for an exclusive musical tour.

“I Love Musicals” is an elegant and loving homage to the musical together with Stockholm Sinfonietta led by the English conductor David White. The shows are directed by the acclaimed Swedish director Edward af Sillén.

Peter has invited several leading stars from the international musicalstage. Peter will do six exclusive concerts and perform his gems from musicals like the Swedish musical Kristina from Duvemåla, Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Cabaret, Les Miserables etc.

Pam Ann – our favorite celebrity air hostess jet sets into Stockholm on her worldwide tour – “AROUND THE WORLD”.

Pam Ann continues to take passengers on thrill rides at thirty thousand feet above ground in all her raucous productions. Sydney Morning Herald about Pam Ann: “Glamorous, vicious,
camp and larger than life, the bitchy yet heart-warming trolley dolly in tight candy-pink uniform, enormous hair, huge lashes and disco boots rules the skies.”

SECRET LOVE – new exhibition opening September 21

Chi Peng - Sprinting Forward

Featuring internationally renowned Chinese artists such as Ma Liuming, Gao Brothers, Chi Peng, and Zhang Yuan, the Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities will be opening an exhibition this autumn on the theme of taboo love: Secret Love. This is the first ever major exhibition of contemporary art on this subject. The exhibition includes around 100 works by more than twenty Chinese artists, who are united in their desire to express subjects – such as identity, norms and sexuality – that are sensitive in China.

Chinese society is experiencing rapid changes, resulting in shifting views on sexuality and identity. This change is particularly evident when it comes to LGBTQ people. Homosexuality was decriminalised in 1997 and since 2000 has no longer been regarded as a mental illness, but many taboos remain. The internet and a more open society have brought greater awareness of individual rights. Discover modern China, where art and visual culture contribute towards increased consciousness and dialogue in the fight against prejudices. With this exhibition, the museum aims to show the force behind the current changes within Chinese society, and what this means to the individual. Secret Love is a thrilling encounter with Chinese contemporary art, with an unprecedented scale and scope in terms of this theme.
